Is anyone on here suffering pain on the site where the incision is to deflate the lung. I am 16 months post op and still experiencing pain which gets worse as the day progresses
Hi Labrador11. If you talking about the incision site (the scar area) I have not read of anyone mentioning a problem. However if you are meaning the ribcage itself then I think 100% of us experience some residual pain/discomfort from the use of the rib expander which can last for many months and some like myself may have had fractured vertebrae as a result. I would suggest it is worth a word with your NP contact to see if they think it is abnormal. Was there anything showing up on your most recent CT scan?
