Hey there everyone I’m new here and have read chats and found them very useful but also scary. My husband was diagnosed end of January ( well I say diagnosed, he had to have three separate biopsies taken and wait 10 days after each to hear ‘unconfirmed’ which is still the case) but the Consultant at Weston Park said by looking at it they could say it was and he is how on his 2nd FLOT. His hair has come out in handfuls which has really upset him and made it all more real, the thought of two more sessions fills me with dread.
My husband found FLOT difficult as well ….. not uncommon unfortunately. He couldn’t stand his hair coming out in clumps so he clippered it all off and decided to embrace the look. 
It was much more comfortable as his scalp was painful whilst shedding.
