It all begins

You are at the start of a long journey so it’s normal to feel apprehensive. You just need to put your trust in your medical team as they will have helped many more along this pathway before you. What treatment is it that you are having?

I'm having FLOT

 chest drain in on the 29th the chemotherapy on the 30th.

Is that a Hickman port line? 

Nerves are understandable and unavoidable. Once treatment has started, hopefully, you'll feel more settled

To administer the chemotherapy.  They can also take blood and give medication through it.

Oh a chest port ! There is such I lot of jargon I’ve got a Picc line for my chemo and bloods etc
