I'm new to this. My husband who is 78 was diagnosed a year ago. The NHS has been wonderful and he had radiotherapy last September with no side effects and was able afterwards to eat pretty well. Things have gone downhill now and further treatment has been ruled out, by him, and supported by the oncologist. Adjustments have to be made. I find it particularly difficult at meal times as dinner time was when we always sat together over the evening meal talking about the day. It's not quite the same with fortisip. Gin and tonic helps him! What are other's thoughts and suggestions to alleviate the problem?
Just to see if there's anything I knew about that might help him
Thanks, he's been offered a stent and is thinking about it!
