My mum is going through chemo every week and radiotherapy everyday for 5 weeks Zi can see she is struggling and I want to help to give her a pick me up but I live in Lincolnshire and she is down south. I am planning a visit in 3 weeks and week speak video chat 4-5 times a week. She is low in mood and I want to send something to give her a pick me up but not food. Anyone have any ideas.

  • Sorry that your mum is feeling low, treatment can be hard and its understandably very worrying for you. Whilst I'm sure she'd appreciate anything you send her, skin can be sensitive during treatment so I'd steer clear of highly perfumed products. My friends sent me a porcelain heart that says 'you are stronger than you know', an amethyst crystal bracelet, flowers and regularly sent me cards to boost my mood. It was just nice to know they were thinking of me. I sent my friend a 'pocket hug' which she really appreciated.

There are online shops that specialise in cancer care packages, if you search 'cancer gifts'. I hope you can find something suitable.

Best wishes to you and your mum.

  • Hi Mummy moo

The blue turquoise Jewellery is used to keep the throat chakra open,  Dal wears a combination of Chakra Crystals on bracelets which I make but you can pick them up most places, and he sleeps with a combination crystal bag every night, there is nothing to say that this works if you don't believe in Crystal magic, but I certainly cannot say it doesn't. I have asked all family and friends to think of Blue when they think of Daren and ask for healing for him.. he seems to have done very well on it so far

As mentioned in the other post, any trinket or message received  by your Mum will give her a boost
