  • What a devasting place for us to be in... Husband diagnosed with OC last week, told may not be viable for surgery in which case one year to live. Just waiting for pet-can results.

  • Hi wavey, there no cure for the sadness your feeling ok

  • None unfortunately. This type of news devastated your world. I've just had my op but at least I could have on. Maybe something like radiotherapy or immunotherapy would be possible but I expect you've discussed these.

    Lots of hugs

    Geo.

I am so sorry to hear your situation with your husband .

The feelings you have are natural because of your loved one

Their is help professionally and from this forum but i know it will not help your pain seeing your husband go through this

But dont forget he will ne feeling the same as you thinking of what he is putting you through.

I was the same with my wife when we was told about my cancer  and looking into her eyes and seeing her pain worrying about me

  • Hey Geo. Hope you recovery journey has started well. I know its an unpleasant op but you will get better.

We are waiting for Mondays MDT meeting to find out if it's operative or palliative care. He's T3 N2 M0 so we are so hoping it is caught in time.

What was your journey to the op like?

Wish you all the best xxxx

  • Hi Wavey.

Thanks for your message. I was T3N1M0.

The op I didn't know much about but quite a lot of additions made in between and a few bits since.

    Good luck to you too.

    Best regards

    Geo
