As I said on the stomach forum theres a “travel forum” on Macmillan with a lot of helpful advice, I think I’ll try insurancewith.com when/if the time ever comes x

HI, my partner has finished treatment 8 months ago and weve been on 2 holidays so far, I managed to get him insurance both times it was a we bt more expensive than mine but I think 50ish pound.  I just went through the compare market sites.  however he isnt on any medication anymore so Im not sure if that makes a difference.

If you have a Macmillan support department at your hospital they will probably have a list of good insurers they can give you. Our own local Macmillan were certainly helpful and recommended several companies, however, we discovered that we were still covered by last year's policy util the end of August as my husbands diagnosis was in October after the policy was taken out. So I would recommend checking if you already have an in date policy. Hope this helps, good look going forward.

Our insurance is through the bank but is underwritten by UK insurance which is a subsidiary of Direct Line
