Dexamethasone 8mg

I was on Dexamethosone throughout my chemo.  It gave me constipation but Movicol and Senna got me going again.  It can make people nauseous but I was fine.  You should have anti-sickness drugs if this happens. If you take the Dex after lunchtime, it can stop you sleeping when you go to bed.  Best to take it early.

But on the plus side it gave me strength when chemo made me weak.

Thanks for info  ive done worst thing and Google it with its side effects not done my anxiety any good

They have to list all known  side effects.  It doesn't mean you'll get them all thankfully.  Personally I only had the constipation.

For me it have me energy and struggled when it finished. So I spoke with the nurse and I had it on a reducing dose.  The negative effect was that I'll would wake up in the night and fall asleep again around 5 or 6 am.
