Hi there I’m new to this resource as my Dad is fighting for his life in the local hospital. He was recently diagnosed with oesophageal cancer. Two masses, one pressing on his food pipe and another on his right bronchus, which also is engulfing a lymph node. Yesterday we found out he has two huge blood clots one in each lung which they are trying to disperse with heparin, and now he has an infection. My heart is shattered into a million pieces as I feel like I’ve lost him and I feel useless to do anything to help. Not sure what I’m looking for just an ear or two I guess, and any tips on how to handle this because the hammer blows just keep coming. All this just 2 weeks after I lost my beloved Rottie boy too. I’m devastated.
