Hello all
I have had Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia for 16 years and have now been diagnosed with Oesphageal cancer, just had a CT scan and a P.E.T. scan along with a lung function test and a electrocardiograph this week. Given the abnormal blood cell count ( high white blood cells low red blood cell count) i have regularly had over the years i wonder if anyone else has been in this position.
Apart from vomiting after eating i feel relatively well with no weight loss or blood loss but having read all the information i am expecting to experience the side effects that radiation or chemotherapy will bring if that is to be the treatment. It is doubtful i will be fit enough for surgery as i also have COPD.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
