Welcome to the forum, I am sorry to read of your wife's prognosis and diagnosis, please feel free to reach out here for any support.
As a way of giving some hope, my husband also was diagnosed terminal, that was back in May 2020, he has so far amazed everyone at how well he has reacted to treatment, after being told he had only months to live if no treatment was accepted and potentially only one year even if he underwent the treatment.

I am sorry to read that your Dad has been given this diagnosis; and fully understand how difficult this is for you as you ar thinking of both of your parents whilst dealing with your own emotions.
I think it is important to understand that everyone's cancer is unique to them, their reaction to whatever treatment they are offered is also unique and some have a terrible time which sadly, in the end may make little difference.
Had my husband decided that the extra few months offered to him by having treatment, was not worth what he might have had to go through, he most certainly would not still be with me now.
It is a tough road, no one else knows how it will be, but Dal was stage 3 spread to lymph, liver and lungs,.. he was in a very bad way. Maybe your Dad could ask for a 2nd opinion regarding treatment?
