Mum has oesophogeal cancer and has been told to stop drinking the alpro juices the docs have given her. How long can someone last without any fluid intake at this late stage? I appreciate answers will vary although we have been advised that as her body is shutting down and more fluids will be rejected so they won't be using the feeding tube anymore. The reason I ask is work have advised that I can take a week where needed and therefore want to know when is best to take this to spend as much time as we can with her.
