Hi All!
I'm havin oesophagectomy in a couple of months time. I have mental health probs and take antidepressants, mood stabilisers and anti-anxiety pills. I'm concerned about not being able to take my pills after operation as I'll be nil by mouth for some days. If I don't take my pills regularly I'll have withdrawal symptoms (possibly severe) which is the last thing I need after major surgery. Would I be able to have these in liquid form into a feeding tube perhaps? Or intravenously? Has anyone else had this problem. Advice would be much appreciated as I'm terrified of the operation and this only adds to my worries Julia
