Hi I'm new here and still trying to get my head around all this for around 5 years I've had barretts oesophagus due to refux so every year had a down my throat to keep a eye on it last year it was late so ended up having 3 different ones due to changes last month I had a lump removed that 2 weeks ago I was told was a t2b cancer I'm now waiting to have a ct scan and another camera to scan my oesophagus to make sure it has not spread. Then the Dr advised the op to remove my oesophagus .
Hello Madnessfan
Welcome to the forum, Sorry for the delay in responding here, I am sorry to read that you have been told you have T3B cancer, I understand how much of a shock this can be and I hope that the CT scan brings back good results to enable the Dr to provide the best treatment for you.
There are some members here who have had the operation and others who have just had treatment, it is very different for everyone and will depend on what the you other tests results show before final decisions can be made.
HERE is the link to the information direct from Macmillan regarding OC and there is the telephone number in my signature if you feel that you may need to talk with someone directly.
Keep us informed of any updates if you will, and ask any questions, sometimes it is good to talk.
Take care
