Hi all...just signed up after an endoscopy last Friday showed a tumor at the bottom of my oesophagus...3cm apparently...though I don't know what that means.... caused by hiatus hernia & barratts oesophagus
Got a CT scan on Wednesday then wait for the results of the biopsy...
So in the meantime I'm shocked, confused but strangely, not scared.
Thanks for reading
Hi Neddy67
Wow that is a lot to take in within a short post. Thank you for sharing and Welcome to this forum....
Sorry to read about the tumour, is it causing you any difficulties at the moment?
Your CT scan will come around quick enough, I hope the results from that will do the same... It is a great shock to hear this news, and I understand the confusion, based on not having too much additional information, but I hope that you can continue to feel calm, (not scared) and that treatment and full diagnosis is made available to you ASAP.
Please keep us informed and if you need any guidance once you know exactly what you are up against, there will be plenty here.
Stay Strong.
