Hi Bigmumma2711
Welcome to the forum, so sorry that you have already lost your mum, and that your Brother has stage 4 , there are many stories here for you to read and learn from, and I hope given time you may be able to share some more details with us so that we know what the best advice is to give.
This journey is so different for everyone, and although stage 4 is a devastating blow, there is some hope of future times.
Hope to communicate with you again soon

Hi Bigmumma2711
My wife is currently undertaking treatment for stage 4. She is on her 8th course of chemotherapy. The chemotherapy has worked well on the primary esophageal cancer and she us presently eating normally, before chemotherapy she could hardly eat any solids. The spread is to her lymph nodes and liver. I didn't realise they would do radiotherapy, how is your brother getting on with his treatment ? Sorry to hear about your Mum, that's tough.
My wife has a CT scan on Thursday with the results at the end if the month, I find that such a stressful wait.
Take care
Steve.
