Hi there, I hope you are all ok today, as much as possible.
My husband recently had treatment for stage 4 oesophageal cancer. He was previously asthmatic, but since the treatment, his coughing and wheezing has become much worst. A few days ago he was really struggling to breath, but eventually caught his breath again. Have others experienced anything similar?
He seems to have a big build up of mucus in his lungs, and is taking thinner for that. He also take asthma medication (puffers). But grateful if others have experienced something similar to know how you managed it, and if it improved with time and if this is now 'here to stay'.
Thanks for your help. Creina
Hi Creina
So sorry to read your husband is having such difficulties, I have no experience of combined OC and asthma but wonder if it is worth asking his oncologist or GP for advice?
I also wanted to bump up your post in case others have missed it, I hope you receive more replies soon x
