Hi. This is my first cry for help since being diagnosed with terminal oesophagus cancer last April.
I had a stent fitted 2 days ago and have done nothing but vomit ever since (despite anti sickness meds). My stomach is now totally empty but I am still retching every hour or so. I am desperately trying to keep hydrated but even liquid comes back!!
I came home after 24 hours as the hospital aftercare was pretty useless. I was on a gastro Ward and the nurses (the few of them there were) had no specialist knowledge.
I wondered if anyone else has been through this? Will it still settle? I don’t have massive pain, just bad reflux and this endless sickness
Any experiences or advice would be fantastic.
Thank you. Judy
