Ok I've just had the 4th cycle of FLOT chemo and am nearly a week into 14 day regime. So far no major side effects. Worst one is the reaction to cold. Pins/needles/electric shock feeling. Horrible taste in mouth. Generally tired but it all gets better as 14 days go on. I've got to have another CTScan in a fortnight and op in RVI Newcastle in new year. Then chemo again. It's all manageable and obviously every body is different but all in all ok.  I will be looking forward to a few beers this w/end and hopefully getting back to a bit of normality up to op. I'm eating everything and it would appear swallowing has improved so I'm hoping the tumour has definitely shrunk. CT Scan will confirm or deny. Loads of other very minor niggles but they come with age as well so in that respect no change. By the way I'm 67yrs not very fit at mo but played a pretty good standard of sport up to 40 ish. Hope it puts things in a bit of perspective.
