Glad your surgery went well. Now for the long recovery! Some people do experience pain for a time after this surgery. Have you been prescribed pain meds? Is this stomach ache with diarrhoea or cramps alone?
In any case I think you should check with your specialist nurse. They will be happy to give you advice and reassurance if required. Just leave a message for them to ring you about your pain and they will.
