Today we found out that my mum has advanced oesophageal cancer and it has spread to her liver. They have said surgery is not an option. However we now have to await an appointment at Christie’s to meet with an oncologist to discuss chemotherapy.
Hi Karen,
so sorry to hear about your mum. My mum was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer last week. It’s spread to her bones. She’s due to start chemo soon (which will hopefully shrink it) and she’s awaiting a stent as she can’t swallow anything.
Hope you’re ok, it’s such a terrible shock x
