Hello all,
My Mom was all set for her chemo to start today, sat in the chair, tubes at the ready having had her ECG in the morning to be told she couldn't have it done as her heart rate is too low.
So, she now has to see a cardiologist and hopefully get some meds ASAP to improve heart rate and then get started.
It does also mean she has to have FLOT no ECX due to the meds for her heart.
Sooooo close to starting, now its 2 weeks away at best.
Has anyone had experience of heart problems pre chemo?
Hi
It must have been very disappointing for both you and your mum to find that her chemotherapy has had to be postponed because of a low heart rate.
I don't have any experience with this but I noticed that your post had gone unanswered and by replying to you it will bump it back to the top of the page.
Wishing you and your mum all the best
x
