I'm sorry to hear that your dad has been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer that has spread to his liver.
I did not have this type of cancer but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies and by responding to you it will push it back to the top of the page again.
When you say "what can we expect" do you mean what treatment can your dad expect or what can he expect at the appointment at the Christie Hospital?
Has he been assigned a cancer nurse specialist (CNS) yet as they are always available to talk through what will be happening next?
