Hi hope every one is keeping good.
Well hubby had his third infusion of ECX last Tuesday still has two weeks of the tablets to go.
Have to say the Capecitabine tablets really pull him down and he has not been to good last few days.
With have a appointment tomorrow for oncologist for results of ct scan which was taken after two cycles.
Hubby has just asked me to book a taxi for tomorrow as he does not fill that he can drive,he was a hgv driver and loved diving so that hit home. My one and only regret in life is that i never learnt to drive.
I am so glad my ct scan was still good cannot afford to be ill have to take care of him.
So we are another step closer to hopefully surgery, if he passes the fitness test if he does not i do not know then what the outcome might be.
Take Care Everyone Ellie xx

I’m glad that your scan was ok. Let’s hope your husband’s scan shows that the chemo is doing something and it’s all been worthwhile. I don’t need to tell you that chemo is tough. But your hubby is almost there! And once the third cycle is over he will recover. It would be good if he could do something to get fit again, ready for the test and for the trial of surgery. If he fails the fitness test it could delay the surgery, and I’m sure you both want it over as soon as. So stay strong, stay positive and you’ll get the best outcome.
Counting the days, making every day count.
