Hi my husband has stage 4 and no further treatment for him. He is having awful trouble keeping food down and the weight is falling off him so quickly.
He has a stent (second one) but this does not seem to be helping this time. He is bringing up so much spittle it is cruel to watch.
Someone has mentioned the drug metoclopramide and I was wondering if anyone has used it and how you find it. I will discuss with consultant tomorrow after he has had yet another swallow scan.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Thank you for your response. just found out his stent has gone into his stomach again so this is a major cause of his current symptoms.
Will ask about the medication as well.
Hello,
Thank you for getting back to me.will your husband have to have surgery to have the stent replaced?at least you know the cause. To day my husband goes for an endoscopic procedure,so await the outcome with hope.Best wishes to you both and thinking of you.
