Hi every one hope every one is doing well.
Well hubby has no infection now, now re hydrated and blood clot now being dealt with.
Was going to come home today, but now they think there is a problem with the heart, his blood pressure has always been really good and on no medication for heart.
He had one more chemo to do next week, then another meeting with surgeon regarding surgery.
I have no idea where we are now, they are saying the chemo may have caused this. He looks so good and eating normal food which he had not done for over three months.
Thought things where look up and now i have no idea.
Take Care Ellie xx
"You Never Walk A Lone"
Hi Ellie
My chemo gave me some cardiac problems which weren’t noticed until I was in surgery. But thankfully they managed to keep me going and it turned out the problem was only temporary - at least until I started chemo 6weeks later when the problem re-emerged. Howerever five years on I don’t have any issues with my heart and I am enjoying life.
Infection is obviously a worry during chemo as you are immuno compromised, but it sounds as though they have dealt with that ok.
It is a worrying and uncertain journey but you have to have believe that your surgical team have seen it all before and can manage your husbands situation and get him through all this to live a long and enjoyable life.
Counting the days, making every day count.
