Hello all, I joined following a malignant looking gastro oesophageal junction tumour on endoscopy 2 weeks ago, I'm a retired nurse practitioner and I'm so glad I joined as I've learnt so much and the positivity and support is clear to see. I knew it was going to be malignant but the t4n2m0 today following an MDT has floored me. Pet scan and surgery to follow they've said, I'm very rural so everything will be at least 1.5 hrs away if not more. I don't drink or smoke but I'm overweight and dealt with far too much trauma and stress in my life (I'm 55) so much so I've been in autistic/ADHD burnout for 2 yrs (diagnosed at 52). I'm so glad I've read about successful T4 outcomes on here otherwise I would have thought it was game over. I'm a fighter I've got three children and almost 7 grandchildren and 2 dogs who need me xxx
