I presume you mean NG tube. In hospital they normally seem to set the feed pump up for 24 hour operation. When I was at home I changed it to running high rate overnight thus allowing myself to disconnect the pump during the day and give myself complete freedom. Sipping water eases,any throat discomfort. I found it easier to cope with than I had anticipated. I have no experience of combining this with a stent and most people I have read about on this site seem to have one or the other not both.
