So found out today my fellas cancer can not be treated with surgery, but can be treated with chemo and immunotherapy.
Hi there
There is lots of really helpful people on here who can help you with any questions re the chemo
How are you both doing?

Hi Littlemisspeachy, this is the same diagnosis my Dad 63 was given in October last year. It’s devastating to be given this news that surgery is not an option and takes a while to sink in. He has just started his Chemo and immunotherapy after a delay getting a stent fitted. Side effects wise he is coping okay at the moment.
How are you both doing? If you have any questions this forum has been amazing for my Mum and I. Feel free to message me if you need to chat x
still in a bit of a shock really and now waitin for treatment to start
Our emotional rollercoaster ride ended once treatment started for my husband. Once he was able to swallow properly again, which was quite soon, he decided that he's sort of glad he couldn't have surgery after hearing how awful the procedure and after effects are. The chemo and immunotherapy have shrunk the tumours considerably so far. His next CT scan is on Monday.
You can talk to the Macmillan counsellors if needed.
Take care,
Lorraine
Oh that sounds promising he can still eat but struggles at times so hopefully once treatment starts he can eat without 2 much issues
