Hi all,

Been having a little break from posting but still been checking in, it's just so sad sometimes.

So sorry Jennie about your new tumour, so glad to hear it's been removed and you are on the mend.

CB, Andy and Bob so nice to hear you are all doing so well after your operations and you have even had holidays, may it long continue.

I think about Dean so often, he had such a positive attitude and was a great friend to me.

Tony my hubby starts 2nd line chemo next Friday, he will be having paclitaxel every week for three weeks and then one week off, he is dreading the side effects so back on the rollercoaster again.

He has endured so much last year but I am so thankful he is still here, we have just gone over a year since diagnosis.

New Year new fight, let's hope 2025 is kinder to us all Pray

  • Hello Angie. Best of luck for Tony's next line of treatment. A year after diagnosis is brilliant, provided you've all managed some quality time together. I hope there will be more happy memories made in the days and months ahead. Rod said last night that he realises every day is a bonus. Worst case scenario at diagnosis was 4-6 months without treatment. He's 5 months in and doing well.

I agree about missing Dean. What a rock he was for everyone on here.

    Love to you all,

    Lorraine

  • thats so lovely ladies, never has new year new you been so ironic, so inspirational and humbling these posts i read, after couple of days without the gloop and foam party the little sod has started tonight, friend said, it must know its on its way outSlight smile

Hope to be sending live update from the ward at some point, new year new you, god how apt xx jules

  • It's still the same you, Jules. Lovely through and through. No matter the construction and shell xxx

  • Hi Lorraine,

Yes a year is brilliant, we had a holiday in July so that was good, we don't go out much but we have quality time together.

Rod is right every day is a bonus, glad to hear he is doing well.

The fight continues for us all.

    Take care

    Angie xxx
