Hi all. My mam has suffered from colitis after three rounds of immunotherapy. Such is its severity , they have no stopped her treatments permanently. This leaves her with an incurable cancer. I was just wondering if anyone has experience of such a horrific reaction and now that they are trying to reintroduce solid food to her diet , if anyone has any foods that they found easy to tolerate and didn’t run through them easily?

  • Hi

I'm not a member of this group but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your mum's diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Hello Ailz, there are quite a few people on the forum who've had to experiment with different types of food to find some that can be tolerated. I'm sure others can give you advice who have various types of food intolerance.

Best wishes to you and your Mum xxx
