Hi, my Husband had robotic surgery on 10th July and was doing well but for the past week his cough has got much worse than straight after surgery.
Is this normal or should we be worried?
Hi Jaxster373,
A dry cough is a quite normal side effect of the surgery Mine lasted for about 10 weeks and was exacerbated by talking too much or having to raise my voice. It was very annoying, particularly when my chest was still sore from the surgery. The only thing I found that helped a bit was ‘Airwaves’ chewing gum
Hi Cool Blue,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. That's reassuring to know it's not unusual.
I will get some air waves for him. Thank you
