Stent

Hi Ade, my husbands go to is coffee, pop became uncomfortable for him. Give a call to your specialist nurse, explain and ask for a barium swallow to check the stent. Unfortunately my husband has no end of issues and currently in hospital having another as the 2nd one slipped. Let us know how you get on x

Looking for tips advice also. 

Mum had her stent fitted yesterday just home today - very nauseated but just froth brought up. Fair bit of discomfort- sent home with paracetamol. Just one as weight low.

Bless her she required morphine after procedure.

I do hope she starts to feel better.

Everyone welcome we chat help each other. Hubby been in hospital since Tuesday. He told the doctor he felt slightly better today… the reply he can go home. My hubby is recently retired nurse so got insight to how he feels, the palliative care doctor came to visit as he was trying to eat soup..she said you are not going anywhere this weekend… trying new medication to reduce the amount of acid created tomorrow… from experience I would say, ring specialist nurse or ask to speak to community MacMillan nurse. Let us know, love to you all x
