well we got a port date weds then first autoimmune treatment starts we hope as this last few days he been in so much pain from pancreatic infections had just fluid and anti meds placed in , the thing is he been saying this for last few months and from last time seeing doctor we have not had any blood results which was a 2 months ago . so we wait hopefully he gets port as he just has no veins anymore it took 4 times just get some blood out from him , he terrified of needles

I am sorry to hear of your husbands journey with oesophageal cancer. It sounds a really challenging time for you both. I had a different type of cancer to your husband, so I hope you don't mind me responding. Hopefully it will bump your post and someone who has had a similar experience will see it.
How did he get on today with having the port fitted? Hopefully he will be able to get some blood taken and tested now.
I am sorry that he has been in so much pain from his pancreatic infections. I hope that they can help him manage the pain.
