Hi,
can anyone help my dad as had a stent fitted, he was fine eating soft foods for a couple of weeks but now he is unable to eat only drink liquids.
The problem is phlegm stuck by stent that just won’t come up he as always suffered with this since stent but was able to cough it up now he said it’s stuck which is preventing him from eating.
We have changed him from the milky style ensures to juice ones which have helped and feel like we have tried all the usual medicines to break down the phlegm .
as anyone els had this problem?
someone suggested a suction like a baby as but unsure if it will pass the tumour blockage in his throat.
