Hi All
dad started third cycle of chemotherapy last week. He has a tracheostomy. He’s coughed up small blood clots a couple of times since started chemotherapy- not from lungs as it’s not come via his tracheostomy tube.
waiting on scan results and we’ve been to a and e a couple of times but nothing. We’ve been to an and e so often I’m going to ask for loyalty points/frequent flyer miles….
anyone else experienced this??
Hi BrummieGirl
I am sorry to see that Dad is having chemotherapy for cancer of the oesophagus. It must be a worrying time for you both.
I did a search in the Oesophagus cancer forum and other people seem to have experienced this for different reasons. You can do this yourself if you want to type in the long search box at the top of the page and this will take you to people who have posted before with the same symptom. It might help?
I can only suggest that you contact his CNS and ask for advice, although I see that you have already been to a+e.
I see that you are also waiting for some scan results for him and hopefully these won't take too long to come back and may give an answer.
Hopefully you will get some answers soon,
Jane
