  • Hi Ono's, so sad to read your story. How awful to go for such a big operation only to be told all that news. Disappointing and devastating.

I too was told yesterday that I have a T3 carcinoma that needs an operation to remove. Good news considering the alternative. I have a hernia too. But have been told that both will be sorted at the same time.

Keep being strong for your husband. He's in the right place with world class doctors and nurses taking care of him. Every decision is made with his best care and welfare in mind.

It sounds to me like you need some care of your own. I hope you have family around you who can listen and support you. If not why not go to your own go for help or talk to the staff in the hospitals Macmillan center.

All my best wishes are with you.

  • worse news big C spread  in bowel no cure or op aviable just treatment to slow down dissuasion with all of it all that chemos and op for what!! cannot see him ever comming home as he will refuse any more as he sees it as end of life over broken  can not get it through my head or heart how we going to cope with before than after

  • At least by having the op he was given the best chance. I'm so sorry for you. Get some help for yourself now.
