I’d been waiting for over a month for biopsy results . Sadly it seems I got lost in the system
After being told by each department, that another one had the results etc . I finally contacted
my GP surgery . Received a text an hour later with a telephone appointment for today .
Thankfully the GP was of the same opinion and had actually had to chase up my files !
NO cancer cells found ……Barrett’s Oesophagus as diagnosis . That’s a relief I know but
as my situation as to symptoms and lack of relief from medication is no better she is referring
me back for further investigation.
I’m very grateful she treated me with respect and consideration. The nausea , discomfort and
inability to eat is still a big problem! Weight loss is continuing.
Thank you to those here who kindly asked after me .
