Hi just a quick question I am on a 3 week chemo cycle infusion followed by two weeks of pills one week break then repeat, I was due to have round 5 of 6 tomorrow however I have tested positive for Covid and they are postponing treatment for two weeks, my question is how departmental will the delay be to my over all treatment plan? Just concerned the break will lower the overall effectiveness of my treatment
HI Graeme
Sorry for the late response, It is difficult to give a precise response because only your medical team are able to do that. I can say that my husband occasionally takes a break in his treatment meaning he has one cycle in month rather than two and to date he has continued to do well.
I do hope that you are recovering well and that you will back on your treatment soon.
