We have just been told that 27 limp nodes out of the 47 had cancer in, the tumour covered all of what was removed so it's possible that some has been left behind. The consultant said it was T4 any positive stories/advice please? We have been told he will start chemo again
Hi, hope you’re well.
47 lymph nodes coming out for histology is pretty comprehensive and reassuring for you on the completeness of checks.
Which hospital did you have your surgery at ?
Chemo post surgery is the Gold Standard treatment, and it’s purpose is to nuke anything left behind - so be buoyed by that.
I found the post op chemo a lot harder than the pre op rounds, but keep walking through the journey and you will get there !
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
