Hi I am six weeks post eosphactegmy. Previous to surgery my scans showed the tumour was localized and didn't appear in nodes. However following surgery and pathology.. surgeon removed 29 nodes.. ten positive but clear margins achieved. Wondering has anyone been in this position ams know will I be soon offered another PET scan and am I looking at more treatment? I am extremely thin presently, although managing small meals and Fortisip but weight is not going on.
Hi lb1986
I want to bump up your post if that is Ok: In the hope that someone else is able to offer you some thoughts on your post.
My husband has not had an any surgery, but does have PET scans every three months.
It is good news to hear that you have clear margins now, and I hope you are recovering well.
