I was in the second round of chemo when I started to feel really ill. I was admitted to hospital and they found out that I have an infection caused by the tumour making a hole in my oesophagus. The chemo hasn’t worked as well as expected so an operation is no longer an option. They are going to fit a stent tomorrow and they said that my cancer is incurable but treatable. I’m looking for any positive stories anyone has!!!!
Hi Nan
As you say, that is bad news, but it is not only news, there will be treatments and there will be days when you laugh, cry, worry and thank whoever it is to thank that every day you are here. Dal's story is a positive story, Vinny has his positives and so do many many others, there is always hope, hang in there!
Thinking of you

Thanks so much for that. I have had such a tough time. I had to have a stent fitted and I had a really bad infection in my lungs. Feeling better now but very weak. Hopefully can go home on Monday. Some drs talk to you and you don’t feel too bad but some are just so blunt. I have to keep fighting!
