I have just had no 3 of 4 FLOT chemo, it usually takes 3-4 days before the side effects kick in. This time its been quiet harsh mainly diahorrea. I know this can be a problem but has anyone had diahorrea so bad that it causes significant weight loss?. I am becoming concerned and doubts are creeping into my mind. I would, appreciate any words of reassurance.
Thanks for reading Buzzboombang (Maurice)
Hi. I’m no expert but when my husband experienced this it was considered a cause for concern and his chemotherapy was halted for 2 weeks to allow him to recover from the severe diarrhoea. I think it would be a good idea for you to call your consultant or nurse contact to discuss it. Good luck.
Thank you for that, really confirms my diahorrea is down to chemo and not liquid feed. By
