Hi all
im on watch & wait, follicular lymphoma grade 1/2 i want a dental implant, i have had one already that went well without issue! And although hadnt been diagnosed i would have had the lymphoma at that time. Anyone any advice thoughts?? The bad tooth has to come out so couldnt see a prob to having implant whacked straight in???
The main thing to do is talk this through with your dentist and make them fully aware of your diagnosis. I have had lots of treatment during my 14 years on Active Monitoring (Watch and Wait) but also after my many treatments over the past 9 years including root canal and implants.
My great dentist just wanted proof that all my blood counts were within the normal range especially my Platelet levels
