Hi everyone,
My husband was diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma in Jan 2021 and Glioblastoma in March 2022. Is there anyone else in this group who has both? I'm beyond despair at the unfairness of it all that a perfectly healthy man who has never led a lifestyle that would make him more likely to get cancer has got 2 unrelated types.
I wonder if anyone else is that unlucky? Or just us.

Hi CoffeeCoffeeCoffee and welcome to this corner of the Community, I am Mike and I help out around our Lymphoma groups.
So sorry to hear about your husband's double cancer diagnosis. I have been helping on the Community for over 5 years now and I am not aware of anyone posting that have had the exact same combination of cancers although having Lymphoma along with another cancer types is actually not unusual. Indeed I have been told to expect skin cancer at some point due to the types of treatment ai have had.
Follicular Lymphoma (FL) is a slow growing Low Grade Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) and like my type of rare NHL of 23 years it's incurable but very treatable if and when required....... people can go long periods of time and not require any treatment.
What have his medical team said about his FL.
I had a malignant melanoma stage 1b 6 years ago which was removed and I have recovered from. Diagnosed with FNHL last November.
Sending hugs to you
I lost an eye to a rare eye cancer years ago and now lymphoma. I've never thought of it as being unfair but I suppose it is. Good luck.
