I noticed Johnr has not posted in a while.
I hope he is ok.
He recognised me from the Lymphoma forum where I did get to use my first name which is why I chose Doh! here as I am a Simpsons fan.
I had a tutor when I was studying with the OU, told me I had a journalistic style of writing and said he could recommend a course .
Hi, I am not doing to bad thanks Steve and must admit I have taken a bit of a back seat recently and made the conscious decision not to log in so much, especially as Mike is doing such a good job. I will post where I think it may be beneficial but after 13 years feel I have done my bit to replay the help and support I received when diagnosed. Plus I have had a number of mini strokes which came as a bit of a shock as you can imagine.
You will remember how good the old LA site was before they revamped it and the FB group that Mike has referenced is very much like it but with lots of active people. Thats where I tend to focus my efforts these days as the other site I moderated closed.
Thanks for asking and hope you're well and your lymphoma is behaving and staying quiet.
Just seen your post and sorry to see you are having some challenges (understatement) hope you manage to steer through the crap and get some answers and treatment that helps. Sadly not the first time you have had to battle the system and protocols.
Glad to hear you are still alive and kicking.
My son is Autistic and I think I probably am too.
I always seem to ask the questions nobody else asks
My grandmother said "you are very rude"
I came off all social media a while back, too many adverts and scammers
Everybody seems to want some money off me, my email account now has adds I can't remove. saying "why don't you upgrade to our premium service".
I did ring LA about my issue and they just seem to toe the establishment line, as in the professionals are never wrong.
