Hi all my dad was due to have his chemo this morning when got there it was cancelled due to kidney function issues so he has been kept in and fingers crossed gets it tomorrow had a chest xray last week and has fluid/chest infection on lungs and he has been sent for another xray this evening any one else has this?

Hi over the years some people have had chemo delayed due to kidney function and when that happens sadly its a waiting game, but it sounds like the hospital are doing all the right things, so lets look for treatment to happen soon

Good morning Sarah , sorry for the late reply but the email notifications are not playing game just now.
We have never said that this was going to be straight forward but his team will do everything in their power to move this in a positive direction.
Infections holding up treatment including lots of X-rays is unfortunately par for the course....... he does need to be in a good medical condition for him to deal with treatment, going ahead regardless could actually set him way back so taking this time will help.
Lets look for this to get moving ((hugs))
