Hi everyone. I’m new to this site. Read a couple of posts and seem to be reasonable people. I’ve recently been diagnosed with follicular lymphoma. I’m in Australia. Blush

Sorry to disappoint you Mike. But no, wasn’t a wee free holiday. My ma and her parents just wanted to experience what the sun felt like, so off a sailing they went to Australia.

Haven’t discussed treatment yet. I’ve just received notification that they are “intending to start treatment”. They’ll call me at some stage soon for an appointment. This was after being told “watch and wait”. I’m guessing maybe radiation and/or the intravenous medication that starts with R???

Thanks BedrockFred. I hope that you stay in remission and that you have beaten the disease. I’ll keep you guys posted as to the treatment once it’s been discussed and confirmed.

  • Hi Dave, you may want to read this and discuss is it an option as it has proven to be very successful at helping patients achieve long remissions

Hi John, thank you for your kind words. I’ll definitely read that paper. And yes, I could very much imagine that it will be a roller coaster ride. Just have to hang on and stay on the tracks.

    Take good care mate. Dave
