Hello,
I am wondering if there is anyone out there that has earlier stage small bowel cancer and just had surgery and no chemo. I was diagnosed in February 2022 with adenocarcinoma of the small bowel, specifically in the jejunum. They did a bowel resection removing the tumor from my small intestine. I was T2N0M0 with negative margins. My tumor was well-differentiated. Because I am 40, they have given me the option of taking chemo. I just wondered if anyone has went the surgery only route with no recurrence. If you are looking at the staging system I would be considered stage 1.
Thanks!
Brandy
