Hello I recently underwent an stem cell transplant and despite hearing someone else's experience mine was something of a rude awakening.iwas admitted to hospital for conditioning chemo on  28 th October and am still here as we speak so many issues along the way, mucositis, colitis, mild flu a urine infection from who knows where I think I had only 1 solid bowel movement since the beginning of November it's been chronic diarrhoea for weeks but I think I am over the worst and fit to go as soon as my mobility and eating improves

  • Hi  sorry to hear that your Stem Cell Transplant rollercoaster journey has been bumpy…… at times it can be a toss of a coin as to how things go…… on the whole the time I was in hospital during both my Allo SCTs was ok although I did land up in critical care during my second…… my challenges did not start until 10 months after.

Lets look for you to escape soon.
